At Chimbro, we donât just make braaisâwe engineer outdoor fire temples where meat meets magic. Every now and then, two projects come along that are so braai-lliant, we just have to show them off like proud parents at a school talent show.
So, light your imaginary fire, grab a virtual tongs, and feast your eyes on these two custom beauties we just delivered to very lucky clients.
đ„ Braai #1: The Stainless Steel Showstopper
(AKA: âCoal Tray Couture meets Souvla Chicâ)
This setup had it all. You know those people who say âless is moreâ? We say, âHave another chop and make it more more.â
â Stainless steel coal trays â Because rust is for forgotten gym equipment, not your fire bed. Our coal trays are built to take heat and serve fire like royalty.â Wall-mounted Asado system â Bring the asado attitude home. Hang, slow-roast, and look like you know what youâre doingâeven if you donât (yet).â Suspension roll-up grid â The ultimate flex. Raise and lower your grid with ease. Itâs like power steering for your steak.â Souvla system â For those âI feel Greek todayâ moments. Meat on swords, spinning over hot coals⊠Zeus himself would approve.
This was the kind of installation that makes neighbours lean over the wall and ask awkward questions like, âSo, uh, what you braaing this weekend?â Translation: âCan I come over?â
đ„ Braai #2: The Built-In Braai That Knows Itâs Good Looking
You know how some braais try too hard? Not this one. This built-in bad boy is all about clean lines, clever hardware, and zero nonsense. Weâre talking:
â Stainless steel hook-on brackets â No rusty hinges, no saggy grids, just hook-on brilliance. Clean, removable, and as neat as your cousinâs wedding suit.â Free-floating stainless steel braai grids â Not welded down, not boxed in. These grids glide like a dream and lift out for easy cleaning. Just what every serious tong-master deserves.â Bonus: This whole setup slid into a custom-built braai cavity so perfectly, we almost cried a little. (Okay, we did. But they were manly, stainless steel tears.)
