This beautiful dual built-in braai, manufactured from premium 304 stainless steel, is a perfect example – combining a fully equipped wood-burning braai on one side with a three-burner gas braai on the other.

Traditional Wood-Fired Braai on the Left

For those occasions when there is time to light a proper fire, enjoy the atmosphere and braai over real coals, the left-hand side is dedicated to traditional wood-fire cooking.

The wood section incorporates a Chimbro Embermaker, allowing wood to be burned separately and the hot coals to be transferred underneath the cooking area as they are needed.

This gives the braai master excellent control over the fire while allowing fresh coals to be produced continuously during longer braais.

Below the cooking area is a coal tray, helping to contain the heat and coals while protecting the main body of the braai.

The stainless-steel braai grid provides a durable cooking surface, while the addition of a potjie hook makes the system even more versatile. Whether you are braaiing steaks and chops, preparing a potjie or simply enjoying an evening around the fire, this side of the unit keeps the traditional South African braai experience at its heart.

Gas Convenience on the Right

Sometimes you don't have the time to build a wood fire and wait for the perfect coals.

For those occasions, the right-hand side of the unit incorporates a Chad-O-Chef three-burner gas braai.

The gas braai offers quick start-up and excellent convenience for weekday meals, quick lunches or those evenings when you simply want to get cooking without preparing a full wood fire.

Having the gas and wood sections together means the owner doesn't have to compromise. Light the wood fire when the braai itself is part of the occasion, or turn on the gas when speed and convenience are more important.

You can even use both sides at the same time when entertaining a larger group.

Built in 304 Stainless Steel

A braai like this is designed to become a permanent feature of an entertainment area, so the choice of material is important.

We manufactured the unit from 304 stainless steel, giving it a premium appearance together with excellent durability and corrosion resistance.
