BRAAI SEASON IS COMING.

Yes, yes. We know. Technically, in South Africa, braai season runs from 1 January until 31 December.

But there is something about those first warm afternoons that makes a South African look at his braai area and suddenly realise:

“Eish… I really should have upgraded this thing last year.”

Well, good news.

24 September Is Braai Day 🇿🇦

National Braai Day is around the corner, which means South Africans everywhere will soon be performing our annual national ceremony:

Light fire.

Stand around fire.

Discuss fire.

Move one piece of wood.

Discuss whether that was the correct piece of wood to move.

Tell the person braaiing that the coals aren't ready.

Get told to mind your own business.

Eventually put meat on the grid.

Perfect.
